ALBERT LEA, Minn. (AP) — Two teenage girls who worked at a nursing home have been charged with abuse, accused of taunting, spitting on and groping the breasts and genitals of residents who suffered from Alzheimer's disease and other dementia disorders.

According to the criminal complaint, filed Monday, 19-year-old Brianna Broitzman and 18-year-old Ashton Larson laughed earlier this year as they spat in residents' mouths, poked and grabbed them, and at times mocked them until they screamed.

Broitzman and Larson, who worked as part-time aides at the home, have been charged as adults.

No one answered the phone Thursday morning at Broitzman's home. There was no information in court records on attorneys for either teen.

Four other teens who worked with them at the Good Samaritan Society were charged as juveniles for failing to report the incidents.

A total of eight teens were allegedly involved in the incidents, but there was no record of criminal charges being filed against two of them.

Broitzman and Larson are charged with assault, abuse of a vulnerable adult by a caregiver, abuse of a vulnerable adult with sexual contact, disorderly conduct and failing to report suspected maltreatment. All are gross misdemeanors.

If found guilty, Broitzman and Larson "most likely will face suspended jail sentences and probation, so they'd have the threat of jail hanging over them if they get in more trouble," Freeborn County Attorney Craig Nelson told the Star Tribune of Minneapolis.

The Minnesota Department of Health released a report in August showing that 15 residents with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia disorders were abused at the facility between Jan. 1 and May 1.

According to the complaint filed Monday, one of the aides said the group gathered at work or school to "talk and laugh about the incidents."

Mark Anderson, administrator at the Good Samaritan Society in Albert Lea, told WCCO-TV that the past few months have been difficult for the staff, the home's residents and their families.

"We are just really thankful that the proceedings are moving forward and hopefully can see some closure to this whole process," Anderson said.

Other notable nominees include Lewis Black, Fantasia, Kathy Griffin, Jennifer Hudson, Stacey Kent, Steve Martin, Cynthia Nixon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sidney Poitier, Tony Shalhoub, Harry Shearer, and Cassandra Wilson.

Today is the big day for Britney Spears and the folks over at Good Morning America. She is not only celebrating her 27th birthday and dropping her new album Circus, but she also performed on GMA and announced a new world tour.

For the first time in five years, Spears will headline an arena tour beginning in 2009. The tour comes alongside the Louisiana native’s much anticipated sixth studio album, “Circus,” which was released today.

The album has already spawned the No. 1 hit single “Womanizer,” which Spears performed on “Good Morning America” today along with her new hit, “Circus.”

Spears’ tour will include 27 cities, beginning in her home state. Tickets go on sale Saturday, Dec. 6, and the well-choreographed Spears will begin rehearsing for next year’s must-see tour in January.

New York City(NY) -- Wal-Mart's Black Friday was marred when a 34-year-old employee died and three other people were treated for injuries at the opening of the store in Valley Stream, N.Y.

The officials said the cause of the male employee's death has not been determined.In addition, police officials said a pregnant woman was taken to a local hospital. Meanwhile, Police closed the store during the investigation of the death.That decision probably angered a lot of shoppers but it was the proper thing to do.

The victim, who has not been identified, died after being taken from the store.

Around the nation, shoppers descended upon Wal-Mart en masse in hopes of scoring Black Friday discounts. From New Jersey to Dallas, there were reports of hundreds of shoppers lining up before stores opened, looking for $2 DVDs and flat-panel TVs priced just under $400.

For the most part, the morning was without incident.

At the Fairfax, Va., location, for example, the scene was social. Hundreds queued up before doors opened at 5 a.m., with some having arrived the night before in order to be among the first to shop.

"We skipped Thanksgiving dinner," said 30-year-old Arash Habiezadeh.

Wal-Mart, which operates more than 4,100 U.S. stores and 3,100 international locations, is expected to be a big winner this holiday season as its discounts resonate with budget-conscious shoppers. The company has been aggressively courting customers by lowering its prices and introducing holiday-gift sections in stores.

"Even with the economy, you've got to go with the deals," said Robert Balboni of Centreville, Va., while loading his shopping cart with a 42-inch flat panel TV, a portable DVD player and a Philips 2GB MP3 player.

Wal-Mart has already shown signs of benefiting from the economic slowdown. Same-store sales, or sales at retail stores open at least a year, gained 2.4% in October, beating the company's own forecast.

Overall, the U.S. retail sector is expected to endure one of its worst holiday seasons in years. Sales are projected to climb just 2.2%, according to the National Retail Federation, making it the weakest sales gain in six years.

It's Thanksgiving in America today, and exactly four weeks till Christmas, so what better time to learn how to cook the perfect turkey ? This is the tips :

What will you need ?

• 1 turkey (up to 20 lbs. Cooking time is not dependent on weight of turkey)
• 1 plain brown paper bag (preferably without printing)
• 1 jar of Crisco, stick of butter or any greasy stuff
• Cooking rack and deep turkey pan.This is what you will do :

1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
2. Grease the bag inside and out.
3. Stuff your turkey.
4. Put the turkey inside the bag.
5. Staple the bag securely shut.
6. Put the brown-bagged turkey on a cooking rack in the pan.
7. Place the turkey and pan inside the oven.
8. Do this quickly so you don't lose any heat.
9. Be sure the top of the bag doesn't touch the top oven coils.
10. Cook at 450 degrees for ninety minutes.
11. Turn temperature down to 350 degrees and cook for ninety minutes more. DO NOT open the oven during the cooking.
